So, Tuesday was Sarah's birthday; we had friends over for dessert on Friday to celebrate, and Sarah made a bunch of very delicious foods! She made chocolate chip cookies, cheese cake squares, brownies, cupcakes with white frosting, fruit with some kinda sweet dip and a cinnamon layer cake with pudding in the middle. Then we went for a hike on Saturday; it was pretty, but not as much as the first time we did this hike.
Then we celebrated her birthday again on Sunday with family; we had great BBQ plus MORE DESSERTS. On her actual birthday I made Sarah a slide-show of pictures of us (mostly her) with some videos of our trips and other events we have done together so far; she cried big time! :)
Also, Sarah made her first loaf of bread last week from scratch and it turned out great! She was so happy with it that she took a picture of the bread.
Addition (by Sarah): Mom Kenney made an awesome pumpkin chocolate cake for my birthday on Sunday; it was very moist, flavorful, and chocolatey. The cake that I made on Friday was a Blitz Torte, the recipe for which I got from Joanna when she made the cake for Sean's birthday a couple years ago. And the bread recipe I got from my New Best Recipe cookbook from the editors of Cooks Illustrated magazine. So far, all the recipes I have made have really been the best I've found.

That is a beautiful loaf of bread, well done Sarah. I'm sorry we are stupid heads and didn't send you your birthday card. It got lost in the office (aka the abyss). Please forgive us. I'm glad to hear that you had a good birthday and wish you a wonderful year of being 25. You can rent a car now without a nasty fee! YAY!
Where did you get the recipe for making your own bread? That's something that Patrick and I would definitely would want to try.
I told your husband happy birthday - if he didn't tell you - he should bake you a loaf of bread.
MMMMmmm Blitz Torte.
yeah, fun, I had fun so sorry I couldn't try any of your tasties. Love that Steve loves his bat mouse, David get that bat mouse at target for Mojo.
geez, how much longer is Sarah going to be 25?????
By coincidence, another squirrel got into a substation 40 miles away in Ironwood, Mich., Monday morning and caused a temporary outage that affected about 1,400 customers in Ironwood and two nearby communities, Elwood said.
The expression “no need to reinvent the wheel” loses much of its wit when “recreate” is substituted for the original verb. While we’re at it, "recreate” does not mean “to engage in recreation.” If you play basketball, you may be exercising, but you’re not recreating.
